For our aerosol cans we use pure aluminium. Aluminium is a very sustainable raw material, as it can be recycled infinitely without quality loss. The recycling process consumes only a fraction of the energy needed for primary production.
Aerosol cans improve the ease-of-use and convenience of hundreds of products used on a daily basis. By choosing aerosol can packaging for your products, you can ensure they are securely and hygienically packed - leading to a long product life.

… protect the filling
Aluminium has excellent barrier properties. The filing is optimally protected from light, oxygen and harmful external influences. Aerosol cans do not allow air to re-enter the package, thus protecting the filling contents from contamination by harmful substances from the outside. At the same time, the aroma of the filling is preserved.

Our aerosol cans are made of fully and infinitely recyclable aluminium.
Recycling of aluminium consumes only a fraction of the energy needed for primary production. Around 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today.
The most sustainable material, however, is the material that has never been used. Therefore at LINHARDT, we continuously strive to reduce the material used for our cans.

LINHARDT has decades of experience producing aluminium aerosol cans.
At LINHARDT, we are able to look back on many decades of successful aluminium aerosol can production. Over the years our unique know-how in the field of aluminium shaping emerged. With this knowledge and our experience as one of the market leaders for aluminium healthcare packaging, we continue to set high quality standards for the industry –resulting in production processes in accordance with GMP.
In recent years we invested in 4 new high speed can lines. As a result, we are able to offer aerosol cans with diameters ranging from 22 mm - 53 mm.
As a medium-sized family-owned enterprise, we are a reliable partner even to smaller clients.
Our clients often affirm that flexibility is one of our biggest strengths. With a MOQ of only 20,000 pieces (10,000 pieces for unpainted and unprinted cans), we pave the way for start-ups to enter the market.
LINHARDT INNOVATION HIGHLIGHT
100% PCR CAN
Our contribution to achieving your climate goals: Using slugs made from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum results in a 92% lower carbon footprint of just 1.1 kg CO2e/kg PCR slugs instead of 13.1 kg CO2e/kg Virgin slugs.
PCR LIGHTWEIGHT CAN
By using an alloy made of 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum and 0.3% manganese, more than 17% of the material can be saved for the production of a 150 ml can. Using PCR aluminum results in a 92% lower carbon footprint of just 1.1 kg CO2e/kg PCR slugs instead of 13.1 kg CO2e/kg virgin slugs.
LINHARDT BEST PRACTICE
AEROSOL CAN WITH 53 MM TRANSFER SHOULDER
We are experts in producing diameter 53 mm aerosol cans. Thanks to our special technology, we’re able to produce weight-reduced cans without the usually accompanying weakening of the critical shoulder area, thus we’re creating a light-weight, yet highly stable can.
For our aerosol cans we use pure aluminium. Aluminium is a very sustainable raw material, as it can be recycled infinitely without quality loss. The recycling process consumes only a fraction of the energy needed for primary production.
LINHARDT possesses extensive know-how in the field of aluminium processing. In addition to the classic monobloc cans our portfolio includes many different shapes, like our Bodyline, Softline, Curveline or Bullet shape. And we’re working on more innovative approaches, such as the award-winning
For the classic aerosol cans we offer oval, and inclined shoulders, shoulders with cap grooves and transfer shoulders. An overview of the most common shoulder shapes can be found in our
We directly print our aluminium cans in-line with up to 8 colours. Our process is indirect offset printing, where all colors are consecutively printed on an offset blanket, from where they are then transferred onto the can. The printing plates for this technique are laterally correct offset printing plates made of plastic with a steel surface. More information regarding our printing and decoration capabilities can be found in the
